Main Tasks & Responsibilities

• To support client to ensure their safety and well-being

• To support with personal care needs including showering and washing.

• To support with general care needs such as preparing meals and drinks.

• To support client to manage the stairs in her home.

• To maintain cleanliness and tidiness of the client’s equipment and surroundings

• To develop a positive relationship with the client

• Kind and caring, sensitive to the client’s needs

• Patient and cheerful with a sense of humour.

• Reliable and trustworthy

• Ability to use your own initiative

• Ability to work sensitively in a home setting respecting the client and family’s right to

privacy and to always maintain professional standards of confidentiality

Skills and Experience

Experience is not essential for a candidate with the right personal attributes, but they
should be able to show some suitability for the role.
