Full-time, Fixed-term appointment for up 31<sup>st</sup> December 2024 (part-time hours will be considered)
Are you organised, detail-oriented, and passionate about making a positive impact? We’re seeking a dedicated Programme Administrator to join the International Public Health Team within LSTM and support our mission-driven initiatives.
The successful post holder will support the team in providing administration to the research portfolio of the ADAPT Programmes Team, led by Beth Hollihead. The ADAPT team provides comprehensive programme management to a variety of research consortia and projects within the International Public Health and Clinical Science departments at LSTM. This portfolio includes large, trans-disciplinary research consortia. As a Programme Administrator, you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operation and success of these initiatives.
- ADAPT Project activities: Provide logistics and administrative support to the team; collate data management plans for projects; manage the project communication platforms; coordinate project reporting to funders.
- Coordination of travel, events and meetings: oversee travel and hospitality arrangements; coordinate national and international meetings, conferences and workshops, including booking travel, meeting rooms and hospitality; Organise the financial requirements for trips, process invoices.
- Project Communications: Make updates to project websites; Prepare high quality desk top published documents; support social media (Twitter, Facebook and YouTube) accounts relating to various projects.
- Financial coordination: Undertake all aspects of financial administration, including raising purchase orders, organising travel advances and reimbursement of staff travel expenses in line with funder rules; prepare budgetary information and monitor financial information; support proposal writing and assist in the preparation of budgets.
The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills with project-based administration experience, you will have an exceptional aptitude of microsoft office packages. The candidate will also ideally demonstrate:
- Qualified to A Level or equivalent level qualification in relevant business administration subject
- Proven experience in administration
- Administration of financial records
- Experience of arranging travel and accommodation
- Organised and analytical approach to work
- Experience of designing & monitoring budgets
