Job Description

The Children’s Country House at Sudbury is the first heritage experience of its kind for the National Trust, where the Hall, Museum and Garden put children and families at the very centre of the experience. Joining us as Project Coordinator at this exciting time will mean supporting the team to deliver a high quality experience for our visitors. This will include organising meetings, supporting budgets, maintaining stock, and much more.

You’ll have the skills and experience to manage your own time effectively, work with and alongside others and work towards deadlines.

Your role will be within our Business Support team and you will work across the property to provide support to deliver the next phase of The Children’s Country House project.

What you’ll be doing:You’ll be responsible for supporting the project to reach the next phase of its delivery. You’ll work alongside the Senior Leadership Team and the wider Sudbury team to ensure the smooth running of all Children’s Country House projects, making certain that we achieve our ambitions. You’ll support open and productive communication, record keeping and administration, whilst being prepared to get stuck into the nuts and bolts of project delivery when needed. Through building strong relationships, you’ll support the productivity of all members of the project team, as well as reporting regularly to your line manager.

 

Who we’re looking forWe’d love to hear from you, if you have:
  • Experience in project co-ordination and working as part of project delivery teams
  • Flexible, customer focussed approach with demonstration of good service standards for clients and colleagues alike
  • Good organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills, including in writing
  • Willingness to work alongside volunteers and able to support volunteers to perform at their best
  • Ability to multi-task and work in collaboration with others
  • Ability to work well in a team
  • Excellent IT skills (Microsoft Office)
