W12Together exists to help create a unified, empowered, healthy, well-informed, cohesive, understanding and celebrated community who shows kindness through caring about others and the community as a whole.
This is an exciting opportunity for a proactive and enthusiastic Project Support Administrator to support the Community Development Lead with various administrative tasks, from meeting minutes to fulfilling event-related orders and assisting with social media. Our Project Support Administrator will be keen to participate in community events while ensuring that the office runs smoothly.
This role would suit a self-motivated individual with strong administrative skills and the ability to work autonomously and as part of a team. The ideal individual will be comfortable using social media and keen to help W12 promote their events and activities using platforms, such as Instagram, Twitter and Facebook.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing administrative support to the programme manager, including meeting minute-taking,
- Setting up meetings with an array of partners and individuals
- Act as the ‘office manager’ ensuring all supplies, stationary and marketing materials and ordered
- Monitor the inbox, ensuring all enquiries are responded to
- Assist with the identification of funding opportunities and support the completion of tender documents and applications
- Prioritise W12Together’s social media presence, ensuring they are kept up-to-date and relevant
Our ideal candidate will have:
- Experience working in an administrative role, preferably in a community setting
- An eye for detail and experience with minute-taking
- An enthusiastic and confident individual keen to get stuck in
- Comfortable connecting with the diverse community, being eager to attend W12’s events
- A social media savvy individual excited by the opportunity to develop W12Together’s social media channels with full training provided
Ability to work flexibly, including some evenings and weekends
