Position Context:
Working in the Quality Assurance team across the Middlesbrough and Billingham sites in the UK reporting to the Quality Systems Specialist / Operational Excellence Manager.
This apprenticeship follows the Level 4 Quality Practitioner apprenticeship standard for 24 months.
Main tasks :
- Support Quality Systems Specialist & Quality Manager in a delivering Quality objectives
- Solving Quality problems, such as non-conformances, and overcoming challenges to the implementation of solutions
- Internal Audit Programme (mainly more spot check audits against procedures)
- Carry out management system audits (i.e. production specs vs sales specs)
- Facilitate Supplier Re-evaluations
- Support for Vendor Non-Conformances and associated actions
- Weekly packaging inspections (internal site and external drumming/warehouse partners)
- Support with actions management tracking for quality related events
- Support Shelf-Life testing process
- Support for Internal Quality issues
- Support applications for new / existing certifications (i.e. Halal and Kosher)
- Support with completion of customer questionnaires
- Support with internal quality investigations and customer complaints
- Produce end of month quality metrics
- Support for SharePoint Document Centre
- General Quality Improvement projects
Required skills :
Attention to detail
Must be eligible to work in the UK
Excellent IT skills and good working knowledge of Microsoft excel
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Effective interpersonal skills and ability to work in multi-disciplinary teams
Minimum A-Levels or equivalent qualifications preferred
