Your New Role
Are you a welcoming person with administrative background? Or maybe you are a good communicator looking for a new challenge? We are currently looking for a reception administrator to join our Dunmurry team on a permanent basis!
In this role you will be providing a welcome to visitors at Survitec sites in person of by telephone, directing enquiries effectively whilst upholding safety and security standards. You will also have a chance to support the site and wider business with administration support as needed and learn new skills!
What You Can Expect from the Role
Key Responsibilities and accountabilities:
- Providing a professional reception service to Survitec visitors, greeting, welcoming and directing them appropriately and notifying Survitec colleagues of their visitors’ arrival; acts as the face of the business when welcoming scheduled visitors to Survitec premises
- Maintaining telephony systems and building security protocols and standards; ensures access guidelines and protocols are implemented and maintained
- Keeping a clean and safe and reception area; identities and escalates any safety or other issues promptly, taking appropriate measures until these are addressed
- Maintaining site directory information, meeting room bookings and equipment calendars, or car parking reservations. Effectively communicates meeting room bookings and ensures meeting protocols are adhered to
- Operating any local site communications channels effectively, such as preparing visitor boards
- Supporting fire and other emergency evacuation procedures effectively
- Providing general administration support as needed, to support the wider team such as raising purchase orders
The Experience, Qualifications and Skills You Will Have
Essential Criteria:
- Educated to High School or Further Education level, with 4 GCSEs
- Good communicator
- Can- Do Attitude
- Good attention to details
- 1 – 3 years of general work experience, working under own initiative
- Good understanding of Microsoft Office (Teams, Outlook, etc.)
