We have an exciting opportunity for a corporate Front of House Receptionist to work in a fabulous 18th century office building in the heart of Mayfair. The building has been recently refurbished and is within easy walking distance of Oxford Circus tube station.
You should be well presented with proven experience and confident to take ownership of this varied role. You will deliver a high-level meet and greet service, be highly organised, managing contractors and providing admin support to the off-site building manager as well introducing events to help create a community vibe within the building (when required).
Hours and Salary
8.30am – 5.00pm Monday to Friday
Salary – £28,619
Key Responsibilities
Reception
- Manage and take ownership of the reception area to ensure the ambiance reflects the clients’ and tenants’ expectations
- Responsible for delivering an exceptional meet and greet service, ensuring a warm, friendly and professional welcome
- Sign in all visitors to the building following appropriate reception processes
- Efficiently manage deliveries including couriers and post
- General Administration and support to the off-site Building Manager
The Building
- Quickly establish yourself as ‘the face of the building’ and the go to person for questions / queries
- Take pride in the appearance of the reception area and building
- Supporting the off-site Building Manager by reporting and recording any building issues and managing to resolution
- Pay particular attention to the security of the building
- Ensure any vacant office space is kept pristine in preparation for viewings
- Liaise with letting agents and working seamlessly with the teams on the ground to ensure a first-class viewing experience
- Work with incoming tenants to ensure a smooth transition into the building
- Produce a weekly report for key stakeholders
Tenant engagement
- Develop a good understanding of the local area and create a local amenities information file
- Research and develop (when applicable) a programme of initiatives to increase the enjoyment for all those who work at the building e.g. pop ups, competitions
- Create and develop a monthly e: newsletter for tenants
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
- Proven experience in a front of house reception role in an office environment
- Personable and proactive with a confident manner and able to deliver impeccable customer service
- Self-motivated with a flexible ‘can do’ attitude and the ability to multi-task
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Competent PC user and confident using Microsoft Office and social media applications, and be willing to learn any in-house systems
