Team: Centre

Location: Ashbourne, Derbyshire

Work pattern: 21 hours per week on a rolling fortnightly rota, working every other weekend. Hours are 9:00am-4:30pm

Salary: Up to £13,165.96 per year

Contract: Permanent

Responsibilities of our Receptionist:

• provide information and assistance to the general public, volunteers and other stakeholders over the telephone, through face to face communication and via email, as well as providing administrative support to the Centre.

About the team name team:

• our adoption and homing centres care for thousands of cats each year until they are able to find a loving new home.
• our team is made up of a Centre Manager, Deputy Centre Manager, Volunteer Team Leader, Senior Rehoming and Welfare Assistants, Rehoming and Welfare Assistants and Receptionists

What we’re looking for in our Receptionist:

• previous administration and customer service experience
• a confident communicator with the ability to manage challenging situations calmly and compassionately
• a strong, flexible team player
• ability to work on own initiative accurately and under pressure with excellent organisational skills
• experience using Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word and Excel
