Semco Maritime is currently recruiting a motivated and well organised individual to join the Sales team as Sales and Marketing Coordinator. Reporting to the Head Of Sales and Marketing, this role will be responsible for supporting both the sales and marketing departments in coordinating campaigns, executing strategies, and ensuring effective communication. The ideal candidate will possess strong multitasking abilities, excellent communication skills, and a passion for driving business growth through collaborative efforts.
Key Responsibilities Include:
- Support the Sales and Marketing division with scheduling, agenda creation, and distribution of materials.
- Manage sales documentation, preparing new content and reviewing existing detail to ensure it is suitable for current and future requirements.
- Assist in the development and implementation of sales strategies to achieve company objectives.
- Research industry activity and highlight areas of importance.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to execute promotional campaigns across various channels, including social media, email, and print.
- Help create marketing materials such as brochures, presentations, and advertisements.
- Assist in organizing and attending marketing events, trade shows, and exhibitions.
- Coordinate cross-departmental UK projects ensuring deadlines are met and objectives are achieved.
- Maintain databases and CRM systems with accurate and up-to-date information.
- Assist in the preparation of presentations, proposals, and contracts.
This role primarily operates form the Aberdeen office in Westhill but may require occasional travel for events or meetings. The job description is intended to provide information related to the main duties of this role, however, is not exhaustive. Duties may be added, deleted, or modified as required.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a sales or marketing support role, preferably within the Oil & Gas industry.
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
