We are seeking to recruit a SEND Teaching Assistant with experience and/or a strong interest in supporting young people on the autistic spectrum. The role will suit someone who can demonstrate energy, enthusiasm and the ability to support students across a range of subject areas, and across all secondary age groups. You will have a flexible approach and will be able to meet the changing needs of our young people.
The successful candidate will have:

• Experience of working with students with special needs, particularly Autism and social, emotional and mental health difficulties.
• Show a commitment to raising opportunities and progression of our learners and support them in all aspects of their learning both in the resource and in their mainstream lessons.
• Have the ability to envision, enthuse, inspire and motivate students, staff and parents
• Help to plan lessons by preparing materials and resources
• Encouraging students to engage in activities led by the teacher
