Part time Social Media Support Volunteer at Change Grow Live
Job Description
Overview:
As a social media support volunteer, you will play an instrumental role in supporting the team to maintain our social media presence. This will include promoting local initiatives, providing harm reduction advice, and updating people on any service changes. You will also play a key role in the development and growth of our social media presence. This could include exploring additional platforms and being creative and innovative with how we deliver our content.
This is an ideal role for someone who wants to gain experience while supporting a local service to grow and maintain its social media platforms and presence. You will be led by the Volunteer Team Leader and given training around our service to support you in your role. You can really make a difference by helping S2S to engage with multiple platforms across Northamptonshire. Video editing skills are desireable.
Volunteers make an enormous contribution to our work at Change Grow Live.
Last year over 1400 volunteers donated over a quarter of million hours of their time to our organisation.

Responsibilities:
Key Activities:
- Support the day to day updates/posting of information on Social Media pages
- Manage our social media platforms including Facebook, Twitter and Instagram
- Support the team to create and post useful and creative content that will engage our current followers and grow our presence
- Lead on the development of new social media platforms and campaigns
- Keep up to date with awareness days/weeks and advertise internal and wider community events/campaigns/recruitment.
- Use social media to gain feedback to help grow and improve their service offer
- Ensure compliance within relevant organisational policies and procedures
- Promote social media pages to relevant agencies and those who use our services
