Full Job Description
Software Engineer (Node.js Microservices CI/CD TDD) *Remote*. Would you thrive within a hugely successful start-up where you’ll be solving complex engineering problems in real-time and will be encouraged to implement new tools and technologies?
You could be joining a popular social media platform that has over 16 million daily users globally and expects to grow to 50+ million by the end of 2022.
As a Software Engineer, you will contribute to building the technical infrastructure and products that will help the company scale to 100M+ users. You will help to build a strong, clean infrastructure that can support huge scale as the company bring on new users and countries and will work on some exciting technical challenges on key components of the Node.js backend. The company implement modern software practises and tools including TDD and CI/CD and use JavaScript on the front end and Kotlin and Swift for mobile development in a Microservices environment deployed onto AWS.
This is a fully remote role allowing you to work from anywhere within the UK. You will be required to commute to Paris once a month for a company meeting and social (all expenses paid). Requirements:
You are an engineer at the top of your game who has extensive Node.js experience
You can work autonomously and bring new ideas to the table
You have experience working within Microservices environments
You have strong experience in designing high-stress software architectures and deploying them with a DevOps mindset on managed services and cloud providers
You have good knowledge of TDD and CI/CD
You have excellent communication and collaboration skill
As a Software Engineer you can expect to earn a competitive salary (up to £130k) plus benefits.
