Storekeeper

Location: Wakefield Campus
Salary: £13,030 – £13,824 per annum / pro rata
Hours: 23 hours per week
Weeks: 38 weeks per year, term time only.
We have an exciting opportunity for a Storekeeper to join a friendly, supportive, and positive team. The role is varied with lots of opportunity to develop new skills and knowledge.
You will be required to:
- Ensure that an ample supply of essential foodstuffs is always available in food production areas.
- Keep daily store issues documentation up to date as required by the Senior Store Technician and the College Financial regulations
- Comply with food safety legislation and complete relevant paperwork.
- Operate a healthy and safe working environment in accordance with the relevant College policies and procedures.
As a Storekeeper you should be confident, well organised, and proactive with a passion to provide excellent customer service. You will be able to work as part of a team as well as independently and will thrive in a busy environment.
You should have:
- GCSE English and Maths A*-C/9-4 or equivalent
- Level 1 qualification in a Food Hygiene related subject or equivalent
- Proven experience within a catering environment
- The ability to move equipment and trolleys between the store and all RWEs
This is a diverse role where you will be building relationships with curriculum and support staff, and many other stakeholders.
