Full Job Description
Support Officer
Grade 4 (£21,197-£23,715 p.a. depending on experience)
This role will be based on the University campus, with scope for it to be undertaken in a hybrid manner. We are also open to discussing flexible working arrangements.
Do you have experience of providing high level administrative support? Do you have strong organisational and communication skills? Are you able to prioritise and work flexibly with limited direction to support a range of projects with competing priorities and timescales?
We are seeking an enthusiastic and highly organised individual to provide a wide range of administrative support to the University Secretariat and a number of other areas within the University Secretary’s portfolio, in particular the Policy, Funding and Regulation (PFR) and Risk Management teams. The Secretariat’s primary responsibility is assisting the University Secretary in promoting the best standards of corporate governance throughout the institution. The PFR team is responsible for University-wide Higher Education policy support, understanding the regulatory landscape and a suite of statutory data returns. The Risk Management team oversees the University’s risk management arrangements.
You will have a proven track record of providing professional administrative support to busy teams with an ability to bring structure, method and clarity to the management of core activities and processes. You will have strong problem solving and analytical skills and be able to work under pressure. Possessing strong organisational skills, you will also be able to prioritise workloads and work to tight deadlines.
