We are supporting our Clients with their vacancies for Support Workers with experience of mental health and learning disabilities.
You will reliable, have an enthusiastic personality, possess good communication skills verbal & written, want to make a difference to people with a learning disability or mental health issues.
The Clients have projects throughout south Wales from Caldicot – Barry Vale of Glamorgan (including Cardiff and Newport) they pride themselves on the high standard and level of service that they provide to clients with learning disabilities or mental health issues, supporting them in supported living settings within their communities promoting independence.
You will be responsible for promoting independence, inclusion into the community, physical and emotional support.
Domestic tasks, shopping and food preparation, personal hygiene, personal care, dressing.
Assist Clients in developing and maintaining relationships.
Writing reports and referring to Clients plan,
Support Clients to access their benefits and housing entitlements.
Ensuring confidentiality of information.
