Are you experienced working with children or vulnerable adults?
We are looking for experienced Teaching Assistants, Carers, or support workers to work within local Coventry Special Educational Needs Schools as a Teaching Assistant.
About the role
Working as a Teaching Assistant you will be Improving students learning experience by providing an individualised approach to ensure equal opportunity for students, within a classroom or 1-1 setting. As well as supporting student’s academically you are also there to support their social, emotional, and mental health needs ensuring that the child’s full needs are considered when being supported in school. You are also expected, alongside all staff to safeguard students and ensure that any concerns are raised with the DSL or another relevant member of staff.

Requirements
To be considered for the role of Teaching Assistant you will:
- Experience working with an SEN secondary or primary classroom or nursery setting (within the last five years) that we can gain references from, or similar experience outside of schools.
- Someone who already has or is willing to apply for a DBS Check (Must be on the update service)
- Experience of personal care.
- Someone who is skilled with behavior management.
- Further qualifications in first aid, manual handling and health and social care are desirable
Salary is dependent on experience, training or qualifications. The minimum experience, training or qualifications required for this position are:
