Part time Waking Night Care Assistant – Bristol City Council
Job Description
We are looking to recruit Waking Nights Care Assistants at our Children’s Home in our Short Breaks service.
The role will be to support the care and development of up to 4 children/ young people away from their family homes, alongside a staff team to cover all hours, in a homely environment.
During your shift you will be expected to support the up keep of the home, complete some administrative tasks, as well as be available to the children/young people should they wake.
Under the general supervision of the Senior Residential Child Care Workers and within the framework of current legislation, you will share overall responsibility for the efficient running of the Residential home, ensuring high quality residential services for disabled children within the overall policy of the Department.
You must be willing and available to participate in a rota pattern.
The children’s home post will require bank holiday working.
