Full time Warehouse Planning Coordinator – Wincanton
Job Description
Your Responsibilities :
- Collating and sending out daily reports to key stakeholders.
- Reviewing site personnel deployment plans – assigning colleagues to the different activities on shift ensuring that the minimum requirements are met.
- Review of planned warehouse labor hours versus the actual hours used.
- Regularly reviewing warehouse capabilities to agree volume with our customer.
- Key point of contact with our agency partners providing support around annual leave, absence etc.
- Collaborate with our recruitment teams and site training team.
- Reviewing holiday requests and checking the business needs can still be met.
- Reviewing the warehouse pick layout for each event to ensure products are best placed.
- Opening and closing multi-SKU nailing locations across the warehouse to support pick demand.
- Ability to look ahead at upcoming promotions and events ensuring DC locations are set up in preparation.
- Refreshing in-house reports and making changes within the site Warehouse Management System.
- Confirming supplier inbound deliveries and entering the data onto our inbound trackers.
- Making amendments and replying to queries from suppliers.
- Ensuring the goods in inbound profile throughout the day is smoothed to ensure inbound flow is efficient for the warehouse teams.
- Compiling feedback from the goods in team about any issues they see and making relevant adjustments to support.
The Person:
- Must have experience in a warehouse picking environment and understand picking and replenishment processes.
- Experience of headcount planning within a distribution environment will be a distinct advantage.
- Enthusiastic, proactive, flexible, and highly organised
- High level of attention to detail
- Accurate analytical skills in a fast-moving environment
- You must have a strong degree of PC literacy, with an emphasis on accuracy and an extensive knowledge of spreadsheets / MS Excel is essential.
- Flexibility and a high level of self-motivation are a must in what is an extremely time critical operation.
