Full time Work Planner at Equans
Job Description
EQUANS is looking for a Work Planner to join our team based at EDF Hunterston B Nuclear Power Station on a permanent basis. This is a full time role working 37.5 hours per week. On offer is a competitive salary and benefits package.
You will be responsible for ensuring all activities are carried out with full regards to site licence requirements, statutory regulations, company and location procedures and safety rules.
You will be expected to deliver a fully engineered solution to defects and for minor multi – disciplined tasks, This will be delivered by preparing and managing documentation, managing risk assessments, reviewing spares and liaising with supply chain for non -stock items, taking an active role in the management of defect backlogs across all systems and attending the relevant work planning meetings.
You will also be tasked with conducting site walk downs to identify potential deficiencies for complex jobs. This will include identifying the need for additional tasks and resources, verifying defects and equipment problems, assembling work packs, and updating model work orders
What will you deliver?
- Oversee the planning of facilities management activities and the ability to author and approve emergent work packs in a nuclear defueling environment
- Oversee the day to day compliance of the sites CAFM systems
- Provide performance data via the use of dashboards & other reports as required
- Manage and report compliance against the sites contract responsibilities.

Who are we looking for?
- Exceptional administration and time management skills
- Experience working in a Customer Service focused background
- Excellent communication skills
- Good level of numeracy and literacy
- Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications and other business applications
- Working knowledge of Maximo systems (Preferable, although training will be given)
- Strong relationship building skills
- Working knowledge of UK and EU safety and environmental regulations
- It would be desirable to have experience working in nuclear environments and NEBOSH qualified.
This role includes a DBS Standard check therefore ability to pass is essential.
